Pull Your Trousers Up!

I'm BORED. Soo....

Before you start screaming or curse out loud, let me just say this...PULL YOUR TROUSERS UP!!!

I was in Facebook when I came across this group. I joined the group cause I believe that trousers should be worn at the top of your waist and not below it. Or worse, below your butt:/ This trend is common among youngsters mainly boys but few girls do it too(yuck!)

I joined the group because I just HATE when trousers are being worn wrongly. This trend is actually used by rapists that came from prisons as an easier way to attack his victims. But somehow it got the attention of some people who thought it's cool & began the trend. I find it so disgraceful seeing that it is actually the 'fashion of a rapist'. Ugh

Like, how low can you go?!! We don't want to see your butts, we're not interested in short legs either. We don't want to see the colour of your boxers or what brand you may be wearing! So cover up and pull it up!

Not THAT up....

Ladies don't find "low low low" pants attractive. Nope, we care how our partners look too, alright?

Errrr.....

We Do Not Need Replacements

So I was watching YouTube yesterday, well, watching Taylor Swift's video to be exact. I just love her!! Don't you? She won 5 AMA and was the biggest winner of the night. Michael Jackson created history that night, it was so amazing(:

I really love these 2 people. Their musics are so amazing & they write their own songs - very talented people. But then, there was a comment on one of Taylor Swift's video saying: Taylor Swift is so awesome! Do you think she will be as awesome as Michael Jackson or even - the next Michael Jackson? (it was longer but to get to a direct point, this is it, lol)

I honestly don't know why I'm talking about this but I just want to blog & 'talk' with you guys. Plus, this thing has been going on and on - I like firming my standpoint, hahahah! There's been so many going on chaos about 'replacing the throne of the king', 'the next ____' & etc.

Kanye West spoke about it. (Tell you, I feel like shooting this man. He is a rude person and rude people don't go far especially if you wanna survive in the music industry. UGHH)

He said: "You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It's so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I'm willing to take that on. There's nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael's crown and become the new King. First there was Elvis [Presley], then there was Michael, now in the 21st century it's Kanye's time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there's nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop."

Personally, I think Kanye West has too much going on with himself. Too much pride, I must say if you want to add his outburst at Taylor Swift's VMA. Sheez, an artiste need to be respectful if you want to be loved as many legends that have walked on this earth. He has to learn to control himself - his comments have cause hatred among people, globally. Count me in. I don't like him either. Even his music!

I don't understand the term of 'replacing' or 'becoming the next'. To me, Elvis Presley is and always be the King of Rock & Roll and Michael Jackson will always be the King Of Pop. You know, there's a saying back at my convent school: Once a CBN-ner, will always be a CBN-ner. Even if you have leave that place or the earth, you'll always be remembered as who you left.

Nobody can replace Michael Jackson, nobody can replace YOU. Nobody can replace your mother, your father - there's only one of them and once they're gone, they are gone. Even if there's a new artiste took the music world by storm or you get a new step-parent, it's not the same. There'll always be a feeling of loss in your heart, it's just not the same.

People are individually different. They can have the same face but their personalities and attitudes are different. We should stop thinking of replacing someone's place, instead creating something new. Taylor Swift deserves her own spotlight and not outstanding off someone's spotlight. Michael Jackson will always be the King Of Pop - his legend will go on & nobody can ever, ever replace Michael - you hear me, Mr. West? You ought to learn some manners, I don't deal well with rude & arrogant people.

No replacing, no remaking - just move on and make a new chapter. That's what people want. They want their history to be left the way it is and want a better future. And everyone should be look as an individual and not be compared to others.

Lastly, rude entertainers don't go far! (You know who I am talking about) If you haven't see the outburst Mr West cause at VMA, it's ALL in YouTube. My advice? If you don't have something to say, SHUT UP. It does bring you instant fame - blacklisted!

I think that's all I have to say. Have a great day everyone! :D

Makes Me Soooooo Happy

It's been raining everyday here. The raining season has come and a lot of places have been flooded. Sigh, we can't control mother nature, can't we?

There's nothing much going on with the world now. School holiday just started, I'm having my BIG break now before reaching my last senior year in high school next year:/ Crap, I don't want to sit for SPM. But I do want to study aboard - okay, so maybe I do HAVE to sit for the exam.

I don't have anything to talk about today since my brain cells are on holiday. So I'm just going to talk something really random today(: That day, I was watching 'Because I Said So' a movie about a mum who is so protective over her daughter and wanted the very best of her. So she pair up a perfect guy with her daughter without letting her knowing that. When her daughter found out about it, she was furious. Then, her mum said: I only want the best for you.

Hmm...the line sounds very familiar. But what if the best is not good enough? Maybe he's short, has simple clothes - but what if he makes you happy? Isn't that the best of all?

It may surprise you that some people go after what they seem is the best for them, maybe it's because they don't have enough faith in whatever they believe in. Pretty sad when you come to think of it but life can be complicated at times.

The question of the day is:

What Makes You Happy & You Wouldn't Let Anything to Replace It?

Thinkinng, aren't you? Hahhaha, it's simple for me. SWEETS:DD CHOCOLATE:DD Well, if you point it from food, I have to say these two. Sweets are just sweet; chocolate is just soothing. Plus, to add to your beneficial, chocolate reduce stress and calms you down. So take a bite of chocolate today!

And of course, friends & family make me happy. Family can be a huge headache at times(I'm a teen) but they are the best thing you can count on forever. Friends are another people close to family - they make you laugh, make you happy, be there to listen and tell secrets that nobody else know. They are just like your sisters/brothers from another mother. Hhahah, that's how people put it.

Okay, if you say stuff - it would be books. Storybooks. If there's one building I could save from whatsoever disaster, it would be the library. But if I'm lucky enough, the second would be shopping malls. LOL:D I don't know you but books are the best companion of my life. It's like a silent partner who is always ready to make your day happy. I love the imaginations I can create through reading and the emotions and thoughts I get from reading. I don't have to be that person to feel what's it like, I can feel him already.

Currently I'm happy cause I have my sweets by my side, it's the holiday, sleeping over at my grandma's house & just enjoying life(:

What makes you happy? So happy that you can't live without. Okay I admit mine are a bit off chart, glucose never fails to sweeten your day:DD

Keep the comments coming in, til then, take care!

31 December 2012

Boo yeah!! The finals are over and the last day of school is on Friday!!! Yipeee!!!
Hahhahah, when the bell rang, the whole school was vibrating with the shouts & cheers of the whole forms. Plus, the form fives graduated today so there were other reasons to cheer about.

Sigh. Time flies so fast! Next year, it would be my turn to graduate.

Anyway, I was thinking:

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF TOMORROW IS DOOM'S DAY?

There has been a lot going on about the Mayan calender, so much that they created a movie about it called 2010. I'm going to watch it by the way. According to the Mayan, 31 December 2012 would be the end of the world.

Well to be honest, I don't believe in this. Not to say that I don't believe in the end of the world, of course I do, everything will have its end one day. But I believe in my religion and according to it, only God knows when is Dooms Day and nobody else. It will come as a surprise but the signs will be there.

Now as I type in 2012 in Google, everything is like END OF THE WORLD. It's pretty amusing to read some of the posts, you should try it.

According to Islam and our beloved Prophet Muhammad, he stated 1400 years back then signs that would appear before the Judgment Day comes. There are minor signs & major signs. Minor signs are signs that are giving you clues; major signs are already too late for us to pray to God.

The signs are: -

(Minor Signs)

- very tall building will built

- adultery becomes widespread and the drinking of wine will become common

- the number of men will decrease & the number of women will increase until there 50 women to be looked after one man

- approximately 30 DAJJALS would appear, each claiming to be the messenger of God

- killing, wars, wealth will increase

Major Signs :-

- the appearance of MAHDI

- the appearance of DAJJAL (anti Christ)

- the appearance of Ma'juj & Ya'juj' (biblical Gog and Magog)

- Nabi Isa or better known as Christ (yes, Muslims believe in Christ who was the 23rd Prophet while Muhammad was the 25th, last Prophet)

- the rising of sun from the west

- the destruction of Ka'ba and the recovery of its treasures

I'm not trying to scare you, imagine me writing this post. But it's time we realize AGAIN that we do not live forever, although sometimes we get lost in this wealthy world. This is the Islam's view of Judgment Day so if you're from another religion, feel free to comment what you know. It's really great hearing from another side.

If tomorrow was the last day of earth, you know what I'll do?

I'll eat as much as I can. Cry of course, afraid what would happen next. But of course, I want to be with my family & friends, people that I love until the end. To know that, hey, I live my life to the fullest, did what I must and wanted, I'm cared & loved - My job is done(:

So let us all live life to the fullest, be the best you can(: Love as many as you can & laugh as often as you can. Til then, have a great week fill with happiness!

Do You Believe in Ghosts?

Yess!!! The finals are finally over! I can online from morning til night now :D Hahahahh, I'm just glad to be back in the cyber world.

Anyway, I know that Halloween & The Hungry Ghost Festival are over. But ghosts never fail to catch out attention, don't they? It doesn't matter whether you believe or not but in the end, nobody can prove the existence of ghosts/supernatural stuff.

What is ghost? There are long, long description for the term of ghost which I don' get it since normal people like us can't interpret those lengthy terms of words. Or probably it is just me. Most of us describe ghost as - something or someone who is supposedly dead but yet still tied down the ground of the earth because of unfinished business e.g. revenge & commit suicide.

Some say that ghosts are just illusions of the human brains. We tend to have wild imaginations as humans as well as having logical thinking. But what happens when something cannot be explained? Do we just deny it? It's similary to the existence of God, most believe while some don't still. Like they say: Those who believe, no proof is necessary; those who doubt, no proof is enough.

I believe in ghosts, though I never encounter one before. Why? Well. Nothing is impossible in this world. If there are Devils and from what the human eye can see that the Universe is never ending distance & our Milky Way is not even a quarter of the Universe - I believe there just some things we have to believe and we just can't find the answers to everything.

I know people who encounter ghosts before. Some described it as terrifying and some are used to the sightings of ghosts. But to be honest, I am GLAD not to encounter one yet. I wouldn't know how to react.

I got a few info on ghostly things in Malaysia since those are the best ones I know(LOL).

St Michael’s Institution, Ipoh – A group of Catholics missionaries arrived here in 1912 and began building a school next to the famous Kinta River. It did not take long for the missionary brothers who ran the school to have enough funds to erect a huge school building with unique French structural design. When the WW2 broke out, the school was used bu Japanese secret police as their headquarters. Needless to say, there were lots of torturing carried out. The buidling itself had many tunnels which had been sealed off and the tunnels were said to be used by the Japanese to torture prisoners and to store food. Most of the sightings occurs in the Chapel on the fourth floor of the bluiding where a Brother was seen dressed in a black robe holding praying beands in a sitting position facing towards the door (which leads to the brothers quarters) in the very early morning without a head. Those who had witnessed it were asked to keep it a secret.

Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur – A boys school was tured into a Japanese base during the Occupation. Many British soldiers and locals were brutally tortured to death in the basement and some older buildings on the campus. It is said that not only are apparitions common in the day as well as in the night, there had also been many cases of spirits possessing students. The possessed boys would behave strangely and even violently harming other students and teachers, forcing the stronger teachers and students to restrain him. The possesed boy would only snap out of it a few hours later and remembering nothing

Highland Towers, Kuala Lumpur – A tragic event where one of the 3 blocks of apartment at this place fell apart due to landslide and heavy downpour prior to that fateful day. Since then, the Highland Towers have become famous for claims of being a very haunted place. Voices of the dead can be heard at night and ghostly figures are said to have appeared at the scene. There are also a story about a taxi driver who picked up a woman passenger at the middle of the night and being asked to drop her at the place. She left a bag and the poor taxi driver found it to be full of blood!

Genting Highlands Resort, Pahang – A famous hill top resort and casino, many people incurred gambling debts and committed suicide there. Some visitors leaving the hotel lobby reported seeing a man in red jump from the rooftop, just to disappear before he hits the ground. Certain rooms are not available for rent no matter how full the hotel was. Those who have seen the inside reported that it was filled with old Chinese ghost wards. They would subsequently fall sick for days afterwards

The most popular ghosts in Malaysia are as listed as below. I'm always warn by my mum & elderly people not to wander alone in the forest or waterfall because you'll never know which 'invisible people' are living there and might not welcome you. Also, if I were to sense something unnatural, don't scream - stay calm, keep a straight face & pray to the Almighty.

  1. Pontianak – also known as the vampire where it is belief that they are usually ladies dressed in white seeking for revenge. The pontianak is said to be the spirit of a woman died of childbirth. Most of the time, they can look very beautiful but if you look closely, she would have razor sharp teeth. They usually comes out after the sun sets searching for men or pregnant women (apparently, it is said that she could not bear the thought of other women being able to enjoy motherhood) to suck blood. Sometimes, they even eat the flesh of babies ripped out from their mother’s womb.
  2. Toyol – these are actually ghostly kids that people adopt for the objective of stealing other people’s money. It is believed that this spirit is kept and preserved in a jar in a form of a foetus. Because the toyol is kept by people to do bidding, you have to feed it with blood everyday.
  3. Hantu Jepun – translates as Japanese ghost. Believed to appear wearing WW2 army attire carrying samurai swords. Usually found marching or if you are lucky, you can only hear the footsteps of marching. They are mostly headless.
  4. Hantu Penanggalan (Hantu Tengelong) – Usually women studying black magic that has the ability to split its body from its head and fly around with its guts hanging around. It is said that its love to suck the blood of women during childbirth
  5. Bunian good ghost or jinns (genie) that is usually found in the jungle. Loves to help humans in trouble or in need.

But like they say: If you don't disturb them, they won't disturb you. If you believe in God, you have nothing to be afraid of.

The world is just mysterious in so many ways that we tend to avoid the unanswerable questions.
